The trade-only Audio Insight Event on 24 March will give system integrators, professional rental companies and MI dealers a first look at new products and technologies.

Hands-on demonstrations and seminars on products, technologies and current industry issues will be part of the event, which will take place at Shure Distribution UK’s premises in Waltham Abbey, Essex, from 9am to 5pm.

Products set to be shown include Shure’s Axient Wireless System (pictured) and PSM 1000 networkable personal monitoring system, and Radial Engineering’s Workhorse frame and 500 Series modules. QSC’s KLA Active Line Array – exhibited earlier this year at NAB and ISE – will also be on show, while seminar topics will include the future of wireless technology, the transition to Channel 38, and the use of large-scale DSP.

Space are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis, but can be pre-booked. To register online, visit www.shuredistribution.co.uk/aie, or contact SDUK on 01992 703058 for more details.

Peter James, SDUK managing director, commented: “The audio industry is awash with new technology but it isn’t always easy to understand the true value of a product from its spec sheet or web page. We’ve invested heavily in creating a facility that allows our customers to experience products first-hand and in realistic environments, making it easy to appraise product performance and specify accordingly. By previewing these exciting new products prior to Prolight+Sound and with experts on hand to give advice visitors can expect to leave with a heightened level of knowledge and some good ideas for creative audio solutions.”
