Dante developer Audinate will be declared the winner of the third grand prix prize at the Pro Sound Awards in September.
With more than 225 licensees at recent count, including Shure, Harman, Sennheiser, Bose, TC Group and Avid, 2014–15 has seen the AoIP-based Dante emerge as the clear frontrunner in the format war between rival audio networking technologies (see part two of our review of 2014).
“It is a huge honour for Audinate to receive the 2015 grand prix award,” says Audinate’s CEO, Lee Ellison (pictured). “As a company, we have never forgotten that our success depends on our customers.
“The whole Audinate team has been dedicated to the vision of bringing the IT revolution to the AV industry. We are proud that Dante has rapidly been adopted as the market-leading audio-over-IP solution and humbled by the recognition from our peers for this achievement.”
Audinate will receive its trophy at the 2015 Pro Sound Awards. Recognising outstanding achievement in professional audio, PSNEurope‘s Pro Sound Awards return to the Ministry of Sound nightclub in London on Thursday 24 September.
