Guildwater Gear

API has announced Guildwater Gear as its latest full-line dealer.

Based in Athens, GA, Guildwater Gear is comprised of a team of seasoned audio pros who provide a ‘retail alternative to studio and stage professionals’. Guildwater Gear offers a wide range of products and solutions, from entry-level products, to equipment found in high-end recording facilities.

"Out of the gate, we knew that becoming an authorized API dealer was essential to our presentation of ourselves as a bona fide retailer of professional audio equipment," a Guildwater spokesman said. "We are humbled to represent a brand of the reputation and stature of API. They invented the 500 Series and they remain fundamental and vital to the recording and broadcast community with their consoles and rackmount units.

“As anyone who works in this industry knows, there are a host of companies that make excellent products. But, with API, you will never find something that does it better, only differently. We have a saying in our shop. It is our little spelling lesson to the world. It is that, at Guildwater, 'pro audio' is a three-letter word. It is spelled, 'A.P.I.'"
