Micro-Peripherals will distribute Altec Lansing’s audio products within the UK, including the inMotion speaker systems for portable digital players. As a result of the new deal, Micro-Peripherals will stock Altec Lansing’s entire product suite consisting of their audio systems for the office and home, headphones, and the popular line of inMotion speaker systems for portable digital players.

Established in 1980, Micro-Peripherals’distribution portfolio also includes Acer, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba, Western Digital and Netgear, among others. The company has two facilities in the UK, located in Altham (Lancashire) and Basingstoke (Hampshire).

Altec Lansing’s regional sales director, Paul Hartridge, tells PSNE that the objective is “primarily to grow the market share within the UK, hence the new partnership.”
