Yamaha will showcase its YVC-200 USB and Bluetooth speakerphone at the IP Expo Nordic exhibition, which takes place in Stockholm from September 19-20.

The Yamaha YVC-200 is designed to give its users a precise and clear sound regardless of their working environment. The lightweight and compact device has been built to easily fit into the user’s hand, and is available in black or white. The speakerphone is integrated with the brand’s sound-processing technologies, with echo cancellation and human voice activity detection.

The device is aimed primarily at business applications, as the intelligent microphone unit delivers full duplex conversation that cancels other noises, meaning multiple users can speak to the device. The unit is fully compatible with remote conferencing systems, such as Microsoft Skype, Cisco, Zoom, and many more.

Yamaha IC sales director Phil Stanley said: "Globally, we're seeing enterprises make new investments in their unified communications (UC) infrastructure, adding huddle rooms and meeting spaces to accommodate remote participants. This has put an even larger burden on IT professionals to find the solutions to address their UC challenges," he also added, “Yamaha UC is deeply committed to engineering solutions that deliver flawless collaboration experiences to users no matter where they're meeting while also reducing the deployment, training, and management tasks for IT personnel. IP Expo Nordic is a great opportunity for IT professionals to see our new range of collaborative options for their growing requirements."

Also at the Yamaha stand is the CS-700 Video Sound Collaboration System for huddle rooms. It is the first solution designed to optimise audio, video, and collaboration capabilities to offer high quality user experience in a wall-mounted unit. It features an adaptive beam-forming microphone array for capturing conversation; four Yamaha speaker elements to provide audio intelligibility; and a wide-angle HD camera for far-end participants to view in clear detail. In addition, the CS-700's integrated network management system allows IT staff to deploy and remotely manage each unit from one location.
