The DR-07 MkII can be used with both SD and SDHC media, recording in MP3 or WAV (BWF) file formats up to 96kHz/24-bit resolution - a Level Align function preventing uneven playback volume through the 1/8” headphone output or built-in speaker. The DR-07 MkII’s mic/line input allows connection of an external microphone and also supplies phantom power. A Variable-Speed Audition feature is included to change playback speed without affecting pitch and looping is also available during playback. A Quick Menu function selects commonly-used parameters such as auto level setting or limiting, while further settings are available through a full-featured setup menu.Other features include Overdub mode, which records over previous takes but keeps a copy of the original and Auto Record and Auto Mark settings for hands-off operation.
