On 9 December German systems integrator Broadcast Solutions welcomed Genelec, Jünger Audio, Lawo, Riedel, Yamaha, Studer, Sennheiser and 19 other companies to its HQ in Bingen am Rhein, Germany, for the latest Broadcast Innovation Day.
Featuring a crowded exhibition area, a production hall filled with 10 OB trucks and lectures and panel discussion on topics including the move to IP, 4K and HDR (high dynamic range) broadcasting and AV integration for broadcast studios and stadia.
"At this event we meet partners which come from all over the world," comments Arthur Koll, sales engineer, broadcast, at Yamaha. "You probably meet them at IBC but this event has a cosier environment. You can make close contact; better than at a big trade show. The discussions and the conversations and the things you can talk over with partners here are more intimate."
Heiko Mildenberger, account manager, pro AV, at Sennheiser, adds: "We are here to meet international customers – and [we did], so we are very satisfied with the event."
