UK-based independent post-production house Evolutions has announced that it will open a new facility in the heart of Soho at 2 Sheraton Street, off Wardour Street.

The 1,200sqm facility will open its doors at the new address in March and will have been built and designed specifically to meet the growing needs of the business. It will house 25 offlines, five Symphony online suites, a Baselight grading suite and two audio suites.

Pictured above is Evolutions' Bristol-based facility. Evolutions' operations director, Owen Tyler says “It is a pleasure to be able to build a facility from the ground up, delivering to the evolving needs of file-based television in 2014 without having to work around a baseband legacy infrastructure designed for the last decade.”

As well as the purpose built suites, the facility will boast a large client area and further break out areas, providing space away from the session if required. Simon Kanjee, managing director adds: “We are so excited about the new address. This is the right time for Evolutions to enter its next stage of growth and development. It is a stunning building that will be perfect for us.

We have been able to design every element of the new facility and have based all our decisions on what we think will work best for our clients. We believe that the new space will work perfectly for them and increase our efficiency at the same time.”
