Award-winning comedian, actor, writer and director Richard Ayoade will give the a keynote address at BVE 2015.
In conversation with Richard Ayoade, an interview with comedian and broadcaster Adam Buxton, will take place in the 4K Theatre at 17.00 on Wednesday 25 February. The interview will take The IT Crowd star (pictured) “back through his career,” says BVE, “examining his experiences and the challenges he has faced in the industry”.
Alison Willis, the show’s event director, says: “We’re thrilled to have Richard join us at BVE. Though he is famously self-deprecating, his experiences on both sides of the camera will offer visitors a great deal of insight and inspiration and, with Adam’s guidance, doubtless some moments of levity!”
American film director Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Red Riding Hood) will also deliver a keynote session, on the 24 February at 17.15.
BVE’s comprehensive seminar programme includes over 120 hours of free sessions. Responding to criticism of last year’s show, Willis in January told PSNEurope BVE 2015 will have a renewed focus on pro-audio coverage (see BVE promises increase in audio content for 2015 expo), including the seminars The Future of Radio and Insight into Testing Surround Sound, Live Classical Music Meets Broadcast Audio, Self-Shooters and Good Sound on a Budget.
Leading dealer HHB Communications revealed its show plans earlier this week (see HHB and co-exhibitor Nugen reveal show line-up).
BVE 2015 takes place from 24–26 February at ExCeL London.
