AVnu Alliance member companies are demonstrating real-world examples of A/V systems using the ratified Audio Video Bridging (AVB) standards at ISE 2013. Featuring interoperable devices from multiple alliance member companies, the demonstration showcases the prioritisation and coexistence of AVB with other network data and services, as well as the alliance’s progress in driving interconnectivity among AVB devices. Featuring the first AVnu public demo of professional/broadcast audio and video products, the interoperability presentation includes more than a dozen of the alliance’s 50 member companies. “Our demo this year is our largest yet at an ISE show, and we aim to ‘make the invisible visible’ by highlighting AVB’s seamless coexistence with other IT traffic while defending critical AV media traffic in even the most aggressive of network storms,” said Lee Minich (pictured), AVnu Alliance marketing workgroup chairman and president of Lab X Technologies. “We also look forward to showing ISE attendees how AVB supports real-time video as a vital component of the AVB ecosystem.” www.AVnu.org
