UK: The Vitec Group business unit's new office is located in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, writes David Davies. RF Extreme's European regional office sees it share space with the Vitec Group's broadcast systems division, Camera Dynamics, and will be used primarily for EMEA customers, although it will also provide some service support for customers in Asia.

The new office provides dedicated areas for sales and administration, and will soon incorporate a technical area for product testing, servicing, training, acceptance and demonstration. It will also benefit from shared resources with the existing Vitec facility, including HR, administrative functions, conference rooms and more.

Heading up the European regional office is RF Extreme director of international sales Simon Clifford, while Keith Gibson (pictured, left, with Clifford) has joined the team from sister Vitec company Vinten Radamec to oversee European customer support.

Looking to the future of RF Extreme in the UK/European market, company president Stephen Shpock told PSN-e: "Our aim is to establish sales and support operations in the EU utilising existing Vitec assets to extend and enhance our presence outside of the US. To this end, we expect to increase our market share in this important territory by four-fold within three years."
