Charles Lesoil of CANAL+ will deliver a session entitled ‘Content Exchange and Catchup TV platform’ at this year’s IT Broadcast Workflow conference at BAFTA on 9 July, as part of a programme of case studies from industry experts.
Lesoil, manager of Digital and IT infrastructure, broadcast engineering for the French broadcasting giant, is responsible for the design, specification and delivery of all technical systems involved in producing, editing, enriching and delivering content to non-linear distribution platforms, including IPTV and OTT.
Lesoil’s considerable experience in the broadcast industry began in IT, with three years of consultancy before positions with Radio France International and the France 24 News Channel. He joined the CANAL+ Group in 2011.
More details of Lesoil’s case study, which is sponsored by Telestream, and others at ITBW can be found online.
This year’s conference, which sees a return to the central London venue following last year’s successful event, is dedicated to change management, greater operational efficiency, multiple platform delivery and business process management improvement in television broadcasting.
Delegate places are open for booking, and tickets for ITBW can be ordered online.
