Lobbying for Broadcast Audio at the Pro Sound Awards

The lobbying period for the Pro Sound Awards 2014 is in full swing as we revisit some of last year's winners.

Lobby now for the Broadcast Audio category!

The lobbying period for the Pro Sound Awards 2014 is in full swing and the Awards night (25 September) is approaching rapidly. You only have until 31 May to send us your entries as to who you think should be in the shortlists this year. If you’ve not submitted anything yet, it’s time to get emailing!

To inspire you, we thought we’d revisit last year’s inaugural event to see who received awards in the Broadcast Audio category.
Broadcast Audio Team of the Year was awarded to Conrad Fletcher and the Mixbus Audio Team for NT Live. Fletcher, Paul Stannering, Tracy Campbell and Mat Wood accepted the award on the night.

Riedel won the Broadcast Event of the Year for the Red Bull Stratos Project, which saw Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner jump to earth from the edge of space in October 2012, breaking the sound barrier in a record-breaking free fall.

Facility of the Year was awarded to Goldcrest Post, the Soho-based post-production division of leading filmed entertainment company, Goldcrest.

The 2014 Broadcast Audio category will be sponsored by Sony Pro Europe for the second consecutive year. To make a nomination, visit the Pro Sound Awards website and send us your short pitch (up to 300 words MAXIMUM) for each award under consideration. Lobbying is free, anyone can make suggestions, and it’s easy to contribute.

All you need to do is read through the categories and see which one(s) you feel you want to make a pitch for: either nominating yourself, your team, an associate, or just a project or person you have been impressed with and want to give wider recognition.

Headphone/microphone giant Sennheiser has confirmed that it will repeat its headline sponsorship at the second Pro Sound Awards.

Good luck!
