Brian Cox to give IBC 2014 keynote

The musician-turned-TV physicist will speak on 14 September at 10.30.

Professor Brian Cox, OBE, the British physicist, broadcaster and former musician, will give the keynote address at the 2014 International Broadcasting Convention (IBC).

Prof. Cox (picured) will take part in the Television's Expanding Universe keynote session at 10.30 in the Forum on Sunday 14 September.

Described by the IBC as a "brilliant thinker, charismatic communicator and musician" and credited with "making science engaging and accessible to millions," Prof. Cox will speak on the evolution of his storytelling style and consider the changed landscape of broadcasting since the influential science documentary series Cosmos first aired in 1980.

IBC 2014 will take place on 11–16 September at the Amsterdam RAI exhibition and convention centre.
