What is it?A splitter designed to combine the output from two microphones into a single channel. DetailsThe AT8681 can be installed anywhere in-line - either at the mixer input or near the microphone. 24V - 48V DC phantom power and balanced cables are required for operation – though this is passed on for use with condenser microphones. A balance control attenuates signals from each microphone by 6dB (typical) at midpoint. The AT8681 presents unity gain (+0/-1.5dB) to signals across a 20Hz – 20kHz frequency range. Noise is quoted at -115dBV (typical, A-Weighted). The unit is built into a rugged steel housing 130mm x 60mm x 44mm and incorporates professional XLR input/output connectors. Input/output impedance is 10k ohms and 250 ohms, respectively, with a maximum input level of +15dBV (1% THD at 1kHz) and maximum attenuation of 33dB at 1kHz. All spec’s are measured at 48V phantom power, 150 ohms input impedance and 100k ohms output load.
