WORLD CUP 2014: ITV using Systembase audio codecs

British television network ITV and several other international broadcasters are using Systembase C510ip audio codecs for their TV coverage of 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The C510ip codecs (pictured) are being used to provide real-time audio communications and talkback between ITV Studios in London and the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Systembase C510ips were previously supplied to ITV by GlobeCast for the UEFA Euro 2012 football tournament in June–July 2012.
