Sound Technology to host Soundweb courses

test 30 September 2008

UK: BSS Audio Soundweb training will take place at Sound Technology’s Hertfordshire HQ, writes David Davies. The company will offer two free one-day courses on both BSS Soundweb series, Soundweb Original and Soundweb London, on a monthly basis. The next available Original course is due to take place a week tomorrow (October 8th), while the next London session is scheduled for October 22nd.

“Sound Technology are keen to support our installation partners,” says Sound Technology’s marketing director, Ian Cullen. “BSS Soundweb opens up numerous opportunities for installations of any scale, but it can be a daunting system and we recognise training is required to fully understand its operation and integration. Through our in-house expertise we are able to provide this training free of charge.”

The BSS Audio Original and London product families both incorporate a range of networked digital signal processing systems. The latest additions to the London series are four new DSPs – BLU-800 (pictured), BLU-320, BLU-160 and BLU-120. Recent high-profile installations include the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club – otherwise known as the home of the Wimbledon Championships – where three BLU-800s and 27 BLU-160s were fitted as part of a major upgrade project.
