Shure dials in wireless audio training events

Shure Distribution UK (SDUK) will host a pair of training events aimed at untangling the complex world of wireless systems.

The first training date takes place in at Old Trafford in Manchester on 17 February. The second takes place at SDUK headquarters in Waltham Abbey on 6 April. Both events run from 10am until 3.30pm.

Designed with live event professionals in mind, the free Wireless Mastered: Live Events will provide FOH engineers, AV technicians and production professionals with the knowledge and confidence to operate reliable, secure wireless microphone systems in today’s challenging RF environment.

The seminars will be led by Shure pro audio group manager Tuomo Tolonen, and applications engineer Tom Colman.

Attendees will gain in-depth knowledge in the following areas:

  • RF technology – how it works and how to operate a secure, reliable system you can depend on
  • Recent changes to spectrum allocation – what you need to know, how it affects you, and what you can do to mitigate risk
  • Training with Shure’s Wireless Workbench software, including how to scan the RF environment, coordinate frequencies, and monitor systems during an event

Additionally, attendees will have the chance to see a range of Shure wireless products, including; Axient, UHF-R, ULX-D, QLX-D and PSM1000.
