Riedel relocates US HQ

test 26 August 2008

US: Riedel Communications has moved its US HQ to a new facility in Glendale, California, writes PSN-e. Having once shared offices on the East and West Coasts with other companies, Riedel recently moved into a new 3,200 sqft building (pictured) in Glendale, close to its former Burbank address. The move follows a period of sustained growth that has seen the company almost double its revenues each year for the last two years.

Riedel’s business development director, Paul Rivens, tells PSN-e: “In order to support the significant growth that we have enjoyed in the past 18 months, it was necessary to expand our US office in terms of personnel and warehousing. In addition to new service and sales personnel we have also dedicated existing members of our international sales team to the North American market to ensure closer contact [with] the company’s German headquarters. This way we’re sure not only to fulfil our future business goals in the US, but also keep the service standards we’re renowned for.”

The new HQ consolidates all central services such as warehousing, administration, commissioning, logistics and repairs. In addition, Riedel has established East and West Coast service hotlines, along with a network of Riedel service personnel in key customer locations such as New York, Dallas, Montreal and Los Angeles.

Looking ahead, more staff additions are on the horizon. “We’re just about to add more people to our US team,” added Rivens.

Riedel has also announced plans for free training seminars, to take place on the second Tuesday of each month and beginning on September 9th. More information on the Riedel website.
