Pro Sound Awards set for 19 September 2013

Dave Robinson 18 December 2012

On the 19 September 2013, the world-renowned Ministry of Sound nightclub in London will play host to the first ever Pro Sound Awards.

Engineered to commend success across the pro-audio spectrum, the PSAs – the first awards event hosted by PSNEurope in its 26-year history as the leading pro-audio brand – will recognise achievement in a dynamic but informal atmosphere where networking and celebration are actively encouraged.

As is the editorial remit of PSNEurope’s news sections, the Live, Studio, Broadcast and Installation sectors are all in the spotlight, with a small but critical number of awards being dedicated to each. Additional prizes will acknowledge outstanding contribution and bigger-picture accomplishment.

“We’ve waited a long time to put the PSNEurope seal of approval on a trophy for our diverse, unparalleled, brilliant industry,” says editor Dave Robinson. “Now, with the experience of Intent Media and, latterly, NewBay behind us, we’re ready to jump in and get involved.

“We want the PSAs to become an essential date on the pro-audio calendar – an event that salutes an intensity of effort but accompanies it with the informality of a great night out. Come and join us: we’re going to have fun, while the great and the good of pro audio will leave the Ministry of Sound tired but triumphant.”

The specifics of each award category will be announced soon in 2013 and nominations will begin a short time after.
Sponsorship opportunities are available – in the first instance, please contact the PSNEurope sales team for more (nick@intentmedia.co.uk and ryan@intentmedia.co.uk), or talk to your contact at Installation, Audio Pro International, Music Week and MI Pro.

And save the date!
