PRO SOUND AWARDS 2014: Stephen Street – part producer, part social worker (VIDEO)

In this, the third video from The Pre-Roll – the two sessions of talk and Q&A ahead of the main event at this year’s Pro Sound Awards, held at the Ministry of Sound in London in September – host Phil Ward asks Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur, Babyshambles) about the human aspect of music production – and “the role of the record producer as psychotherapist”.

View Ward interviewing the first producer on the coach, Monty Python’s Andre Jacquemin, at Andre Jacquemin’s Spanish inquisition at The Pre-Roll.

The Pre-Roll format will return at our new event, PSNPresents…, at the Ham Yard Hotel, Soho, on 12 March! Find out more at PSNEurope announces PSNPresents… for March kick-off.
