PRO 2014: CUK Audio launches free extended, transferable dB Technologies warranty12 September 2014
To coincide with the first day of this year’s PRO show, CUK Audio, one of the UK’s largest pro-audio distributors, is announcing a free extended, transferable warranty on all dB Technologies products purchased from approved dealers.
The transferable warranty extension will apply to all products purchased from tomorrow (13 September) onwards.
“To demonstrate our confidence in dB Technologies’ products, we have extended the manufacturer’s warranty to five years and […] taken this one step further by making the warranty transferable,” says Stuart Thomson, CUK Audio managing director. “This protects the user’s investment and, should they choose to sell the products at a later date, they can do so with the remaining warranty intact. It will mean a higher resale price and therefore more money for reinvesting in the latest dB Technologies equipment.”
“We have opted to keep it simple: the retailer supplies the product with a warranty registration card. This is completed by the customer and returned to us with a copy of the proof of purchase. CUK will then issue a warranty certificate with the owner’s details and those of the products. If the user sells the equipment, the warranty certificate is then given to the new owner, who fills their details in on the bottom of the form and sends it to us, and we issue a new certificate for the remaining warranty period. Sound familiar? Well, it should, as it’s very similar to the V5 log book system used with cars!”
This warranty extension is only available on products purchased from approved dealers and retailers in the UK and Irish Republic.
The inaugural PRO show will take place on 13–15 September at the NEC in Birmingham.
Both PSNEurope and sister title Audio Pro International are media partners of PRO, a sister event of BPM, the DJ and electronic music production event. Confirmed exhibitors include Martin Audio, Nexo, Polar Audio, Bose, Flare Audio, Void Acoustics, LMC Audio Systems and Audio-Technica.
