PreSonus StudioLive Remote

What is it?A software remote system for use with a StudioLive mixer and an Apple iPad. DetailsPreSonus StudioLive Remote for iPad offers real-time, wireless remote control over Virtual StudioLive for Mac and Windows, which in turn offers real-time control over the StudioLive mixer. Providing there is a wireless connection between the iPad and computer, it’s possible to check the sound and control the console from anywhere in the venue – or from the stage. Band members can also use the remote to create their own monitor mixes. In fact, because StudioLive Remote allows wireless remote control from multiple iPads simultaneously, every performer can use their own iPad to control their own monitor mix. SL Remote is a true iPad app, not a port. It provides multiple views of the key StudioLive mixer controls. The Overview displays the most-used parameters, such as channel levels, mutes, panning, EQ curves – and more for multiple channels at once. By tapping a microview its possible to zoom in on Fat Channel processing and navigate between gate, compressor, EQ, etc, with the flick of a fingertip. The Aux view shows levels, panning and Fat Channel processing for the Aux sends and internal FX buses. It’s also possible to move between processors with a flick of a fingertip. The GEQ view allows users to make adjustment to the graphic EQ or even draw in an EQ curve with a swipe of the finger. By holding the iPad in portrait position and scrolling through the channels and buses it’s also possible to view a close up of every parameter.
