Pioneer releases audio interface to support Rekordbox DJ software6 July 2017
Pioneer has released a new audio interface that can be used on all DJ set-ups using the Rekordbox DVS control.
The portable Interface 2 two-channel device allows you to take music saved to your Rekordbox library anywhere, from small venues to larger events, with mains or USB power options.
Inherited from the company’s pro DJ gear, you can connect the Interface 2 quickly to other Pioneer DJ equipment, with multicolour LEDs indicating signal flow and flagging connection problems for easy set-up.
Audio files up to 96kHz sampling rate are supported by the D/A converter, designed to give club-standard sound, and aluminium casting on the extended edges protects the terminals.
It can work as a stand-alone audio interface – you are able to ‘plug and play’ via USB or use DC Thru mode for DJ handovers or analogue vinyl playback. You can also convert analogue to digital with ease, building playlists to play across Pioneer’s entire DJ professional range.
Licence keys for Rekordbox DJ software and Rekordbox DVS controls are included with the Interface 2, so you can start scratching your digital tracks as soon as you unbox it.
The Interface 2 is available now, watch the below video for more.
