test 24 June 2008

UK: Dan Gable has been appointed GM of Breathe Post Production, writes PSN-e. Best-known as a long-serving director and co-owner of Resolution Post, Gable brings 23 years’ worth of post-production experience to his new role at Breathe, which was formed in 2006 from the post divisions of Air Lyndhurst and Strongroom, and occupies facilities in London’s Shoreditch and Hampstead.

Breathe’s former manager, Rob Kelly, will remain a director of the Air Group and assume a new role as director of business development and head of post-production audio operations, in which he will focus on enhancing Breathe’s profile in market areas such as feature film, drama, games sound and complete music DVD production.

“I am pleased to be joining the enthusiastic and professional team at Breathe, and excited to be a part of this dynamic and rapidly expanding company,” said Dan Gable, pictured here with Kelly and owner/MD Richard Boote. “I was really impressed by the quality of the facilities and the work that has been produced, and I look forward to that continuing in the future as we expand.”

“We are thrilled that Dan has accepted the position of Breathe’s general manager,” added Boote. “As one of the most respected members of the UK’s post community, Dan will be invaluable in consolidating our existing post business and in planning our continued expansion.”
