New audio investment for LipSync

David Davies 21 June 2010

The Soho post-production facility has invested in Pro Tools upgrades as part of a c. £400,000 outlay on new equipment. The move is said to demonstrate LipSync’s “continuing confidence despite the shaky economy, and its ongoing commitment to provide clients with the latest and greatest technology available."

In the audio department, LipSync has upgraded all of its Avid Pro Tools systems to version 8, and has installed new HD projectors in each of its mixing theatres in order to give clients better quality pictures to go with their sound edit.

Jon Diamond, managing director for the LipSync Group of Companies, commented: “Thanks to our talented post-production teams we are welcoming both returning clients and new business to LipSync, and have a very healthy roster of current and future film and television work even in these gloomy times. This investment underlines our commitment to remain at the forefront of the UK post market.”

Recent high-profile and critically-acclaimed productions include Kick Ass (pictured), Fantastic Mr Fox, Nowhere Boy and Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll.
