Music Week unveils new recruitment service

UK: Pro Sound News Europe’s sister title has launched a New Jobs section on its website, reports PSN-e. Operating under the banner of MusicWeek4Jobs, the new service incorporates a host of new features and is set to build on a current average of 30,000-plus page impressions each month.

Comprehensive search functions allow job-seekers to browse by job type, position, location or salary. It is also possible to establish personal areas to track applications, upload CVs, make personal job shortlists and submit applications. Anyone wanting to remain up-to-date with new jobs going live on MusicWeek4Jobs can sign up for automatic RSS or email alerts of roles that fit their particular profile.

MusicWeek4Jobs also provides careers advice, including guidance on the preparation of CVs and best practice for interviews.

Martin Bojtos, Music Week’s recruitment manager, highlighted the advantages of the new service for job advertisers. "For both our established recruiters and new companies, uploading and buying recruitment slots is even easier," he said. "Companies can buy credits and then upload their own adverts and they are online within minutes. Recruiters also have options to further highlight their jobs in a number of ways on the section."
