Mighty turn-out for 30 years of Strongroom party

A veritable Who’s Who of recording industry talent attended Strongroom’s 30th anniversary party earlier this month.

In attendance on Thursday 2 July (big breath): engineers and producers including Phill Brown, Danton Supple, Dave Eringa, Ben Baptie, Oliver Wright, Adrien Bushby, Paul O’Duffy, Neil McLellan, James Loughrey, Sean Genockey, Dave Pemberton, Cameron Craig, Adam Noble, Tom Fuller; artists including Lianne La Havas, Peace, Tame Impala, Squarepusher, Talvin Singh, Woman’s Hour, Circa Waves and Mark Ronson.

Since opening as a single studio in 1985, Strongroom (now part of the AIR Entertainment Group) has become a highly-regarded centre for music production in the now-trendy Shoreditch locale.Strongroom 30th Party 97

Founder and co-owner Richard Boote (pictured here, right, with studio manager Phil Sisson) commented: “It was fantastic to see so many people who have all helped make Strongroom what it is today and all together in one place. It’s been a fun 30 years, unbelievable.

“Strongroom is the sum of its parts and all those from over the years are what makes it and keep it alive.”
