Meyer Sound reinforces Sergio Dalma tour

Equipment specialist Use Sonido is deploying a Meyer Sound Lyon line array system on tour with multi-platinum recording artist Sergio Dalma.

Based in the Spanish city of Valladolid, Use Sonido is a full-service sound and lighting provider serving the concert touring, corporate meeting, theatrical, and festival markets throughout Spain.

Oscar Marchena, technical director of Use Sonido, says: “We believe Lyon is a significant technological breakthrough. It not only has excellent sound quality, but it is also compact and exceptionally powerful.”

Use Sonido is providing 20 new Lyon linear line array loudspeakers for the tour, six 1100-LFC low-frequency control elements, six UPA-1P loudspeakers for front fill, and a Galileo Callisto loudspeaker management system with a Galileo Callisto 616 and a Galileo Callisto 616 AES processor.

“The accuracy and headroom of LYON and the 1100-LFC easily deliver all the power that Sergio Dalma’s music demands, without losing the delicacy that is also essential,” continues Marchena.

Following the Sergio Dalma tour, Use Sonido’s Lyon system will tour with rising Spanish pop star Manuel Carrasco.
