Jungle Studios unveils Ben Leeves as new senior sound designer

Soho-based audio post production facility Jungle Studios has appointed Ben Leeves as its new senior sound designer.

With over 20 years’ industry experience, Leeves will be tasked with expanding Jungle’s audio post production service into new areas and developing client relationships. He will also assist with staff training and technical solutions.

Graham Ebbs, managing director at Jungle Studios, commented on Leeves’ appointment: “Jungle is continuously looking at ways to grow and expand the business. Ben’s experience and knowledge across a range of disciplines makes him the perfect choice to lead a drive into new areas. He is also a fantastic sound designer and will be a great asset to the team.”

Leeves stared his career at Saunders and Gordon in 1989 as a maintenance engineer but quickly moved into sound the world of design. He spent over a decade with the company before moving to Triangle as head of sound. In his most recent position he served as a senior sound designer at Grand Central Sound Studios.

Throughout his career he has worked in a variety of areas including TV, cinema and radio advertising.

“Jungle is an exciting company with state of the art facilities and an enviable client list,” Leeves commented. “I look forward to working with the team to build on this and expand into new areas.”

Jungle has recently provided sound design for a wide range of brands including Aldi, Argos, BBC, British Gas, Lexus, NatWest, RNLI, Sainsbury’s and Vodafone.
