ISE 2008: “90% of booth space sold”

test 29 May 2007

HOLLAND: In the wake of a busy 2007 instalment that attracted around 16,000 visitors, Integrated Systems Europe has announced that 90% of booth space for ISE 2008 has already been sold – nine months before the event. The AV and electronic systems integration showcase will take place at the Amsterdam RAI between 29th and 31st January, reports David Davies.

According to the organisers, some 50% of 2007’s exhibitors formally booked their space for 2008 before this year’s edition was over. Since then, sales for ISE 2008 are said to have “accelerated to an all-time high”, with Harman Consumer Group, Tannoy and Naim Audio among those set to exhibit next January.

“We expect 2008 exhibitor numbers to easily surpass those of the 2007 show,” said ISE managing director Mike Blackman. “I anticipate the remaining space will sell out very soon, and indeed we may have to start a waiting list. Strong booth space sales guarantee an exciting show with a diverse range of companies from across the globe already committed.”

The ISE noted that it expects this year’s exhibitor total of 150 companies to be surpassed, heralding the prospect of “Halls 1-6 being full to capacity”.

The growth in exhibitor presence at ISE 2008 is to be complemented by an increase in the number of regional pavilions, displays, attractions and educational sessions. All told, it confirms the robust health of an event that is now approaching its fifth anniversary.

“It is especially pleasing to see many of the companies that have supported ISE in previous years taking larger exhibition space in Amsterdam,” added Blackman. “However, we extend an equally warm welcome to the first-time exhibitors and I urge any company that wishes to take booth space at this show to act now.”
