IAG Group: Peter Peck picks up proper Pro position16 March 2016
International Audio Group (IAG) has appointed Peter Peck to the role of head of marketing for its Wharfedale Pro division.
Peck was a marketing manager at Yamaha for many years, moving to Steinberg (owned by Yamaha) in Germany in 2011 to take up a sales manager role.
Now back in the UK, Peck says, “I’ll be hitting the ground running!
“[Wharfedale Pro] is a great brand, with many new products coming soon. I look forward to working with the team and supporting the distribution network to grow the Wharfedale Pro business. See you in Frankfurt!”
Tim Chang, IAG Group director said, “We are delighted to have Peter on board to support our ambitious growth plans around the world. His expertise complements our existing team and will help drive the activities within our sales network.”
IAG owns a host of British brands that will be more than familiar to hi-fi fans, including Audiolab, Castle Acoustics, Mission, Quad and, of course, “Britain’s most famous loudspeakers” Wharfedale. In 2013 the company, which manufactures products in Shenzen, China and has a base in Macao, almost doubled the size of its office and service buildings by moving to new facilities in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire – thus underlining its “commitment to Europe and in particular the UK”.
