Howard Leight Laser Lite

Nigel Lord 21 September 2010

What is it?A range of disposable earplugs particularly suited for use by sound crews and employees at live music events. DetailsDesigned to help festival organisers meet their commitment  to provide effective PPE and conform with the ‘Control of Noise at Work’ Regulations 2005, Laser Lite single-use earplugs are made from self-adjusting polyurethane foam which expands to fit virtually every wearer, making them comfortable to wear. Said to be particularly effective at attenuating low-frequency sound, the Laser Lite’s contoured T-shape is designed to offer easy and comfortable insertion, while the smooth, soil-resistant closed cell-foam skin prevents the build up of dirt. Finished in bright magenta and yellow, the earplugs are purposely made to be visible to allow employers to quickly determine that they are being worn. For applications where ear protection needs to be more unobtrusive, Howard Leight also produce the Clairity 656 range which are transparent and said to be almost invisible in use. Both versions are available either with or without cords.
