FullScale International goes for global distribution4 May 2017
Three industry veterans, Jeff Mac, Ted Bahas and Joe de Bie, have founded FullScale International, which will act as a brand manager of pro-audio and related equipment, offering distribution and marketing services to brands in the USA and international markets.
A network of trusted and established distribution partners across the world, coupled with strategic and relevant marketing activities, will allow FSI to “maximise opportunities and streamline the entire sales and fulfilment process”, the company says.
Having secured the global distribution rights, FSI launches with emerging brand Dizengoff Audio, a Chicago based company producing a range of mic pres and dynamic processors.
Mac, president of the company, says: “Give me a spreadsheet and price sheet – not a soldering iron! Our skill set is delivering a product in a way that builds repeatable business and buzz within the marketplace.”
CEO Bahas adds: “We have built our business on listening to our customers and adapting our business as our industry has changed. We look forward to all of the opportunities a more globalised business model brings.”
Managing director de Bie (a name familiar from Synthax and JoeCo in the UK) comments: “The synergies of bringing a product to market in both the US and Europe with a single, coherent plan are a powerful multiplier for business and visibility. We offer that capability to manufacturers that would not otherwise have that benefit.”
For Matt Newport of Dizengoff Audio: “We love to build affordable tributes to classic recording gear based on the original circuitry, but with a Chicago-inspired twist. Being able to successfully take these products to market takes a certain knowledge, experience and the right contacts. I am delighted to be working with FSI and using their expertise to ensure Dizengoff becomes a global brand. This, coupled with some innovative ideas for the future, ensures Dizengoff will become desirable for professionals and enthusiasts alike.”
