Everything – literally – must go in Peavey auction

Peavey Electronics Ltd has appointed Bedford-based auctioneer W&H Peacock to oversee the sale of all of the material assets  from its Corby HQ following the restructuring of the business (as reported previously in PSNEurope). The sale really does mean the entire contents: instruments, furniture, flooring, even the forklifts!

The auction is to be of the ‘online timed’ type.

The huge ‘Musical Instruments, Amplifiers and Speakers’ sale comprises over 1,000 lots: a range of “ex-display, ‘B’ grade and returned stock by Peavey, Trace Elliott and Budda, including electric and acoustic guitars, drum kits, combo amps and speakers, speaker cabs, amp heads, PA speakers and mixers, drum sets, pedals, spares, flight cases and accessories”.

Versalift amplifier/speaker lifts are also being disposed of.

In addition, office furniture and other factory equipment is up for auction, including “Racking, Forklifts and Factory Handling Equipment; Woodworking and other Machinery & Equipment; Shipping Containers, Building & Mezzanine Floors; Office, Reception, Meeting Room Furniture & Equipment; Parts and Stock”.

Viewing of the lots is possible on Saturday 22 and Monday 24 November from 9pm-5pm at the old factory building in Great Folds Road, Oakley Hay, Corby, Northants NN18 9ET.

Online bidding will cease at 11am (subject to the “10-minute rule”) on 25 November 2014.
