Dynacord CMS Series

What is it?A range of three mixing consoles suitable for both live and studio use. DetailsThe CMS 1000, CMS 1600 and CMS 2200 offer 10, 16 and 22 input channels, respectively, and feature extremely low-noise microphone preamps. According to Dynacord, the desks incorporate high-end components in a design which includes six auxiliary busses, dual 24-bit stereo effects units, 11-band graphic EQ, low-cut filtering and a voicing filter capable of providing vocal emphasis within a mix. All three models also incorporate a 4-in/4-out USB 2.0 interface (for PC and Mac) to support 4-channel recording and playback. Mute and PFL switching is available – each with a separate LED indicator – and all channels include signal present and peak level LEDs for visual monitoring. All channel faders are dust-protected and separate gain controls are provided for the stereo line and mic inputs, allowing them to be used in parallel. The effects section comprises two separately editable processors with 2 x 100 factory presets optimised for live performance, 2 x 20 user presets, remote control (via MIDI), tap delay, USB configuration as well as a large, high-contrast OLED display. The CMS range also includes a protective plastic lid – as an optional accessory – with an integrated handle designed to ensure that the device can be easy transported to and from venues.
