Details…

Designed specifically for bass and cello (respectively), the 4099B and 4099C offer supercardioid polar patterns and superior gain-before-feedback characteristics, while retaining a highly uniform off-axis frequency response. Despite their miniature size and lightweight design, 4099s are said to be rugged and stable and capable of handling high sound pressure levels. The new design uses a special clip which obviates the need for modifying instruments in any way and can be mounted on the outer strings. A MicroDot connector (with more than 35 DPA adapters) provides compatibility with virtually all wireless systems and the mic’s operate on standard 48V phantom power.
