DiGiCo spices up its distributor network by appointing Eastern Acoustic Development

test 7 August 2007

UK/CHINA: The recent appointment of Hong Kong-based Eastern Acoustic Development (EAD) will ensure DiGiCo consoles will penetrate further in to Far Eastern market, writes Anthony Lord.

Established in 1997, EAD also has offices in the key Chinese cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

_EAD was started as a professional audio and project management business,_ says company founder YK Cheung, pictured here with DiGiCo distribution sales co-ordinator James Bradley. _But throughout the past decade, we have maintained continuous expansion and now provide a one-stop service for a wide range of audio/visual requirements, including design, installation, marketing, technical support and maintenance services.

_Becoming a DiGiCo distributor has meant that we can now offer the highest possible quality digital mixing consoles to the rapidly growing hi-tech entertainment market in China, enhancing our position as a leading service provider._

James Bradley adds, _We are happy to engage in this alliance with EAD as they have a proven track record in the industry. We are certain that having them handling distribution in China will significantly raise both our profile and sales in this territory._
