dBTechnologies convention later this month

test 9 June 2009

GERMANY: dBTechnologies is to host its second ever distributor convention at its European HQ in Cologne on June 22/23, reports David Davies. The event is for worldwide dBTechnologies distributors and will incorporate four sound demonstrations – some in-house and one in-situ – each pitching dBTechnologies products against competitor systems.

Product-wise, the company is set to showcase the new models from the Flexsys, DVA and DVX ranges, with a particular focus on the new active speaker line Opera Digital, which was launched at this year’s Pro Light + Sound (Opera 405D pictured).

The event will also feature short lectures on sales and marketing, and an overview of the RCF Group portfolio, strategy and brand positioning.

Regarding the company’s intentions for the new Opera Digital series – which follows a decade after the original Opera Lines range was unveiled – dBTechnologies’ international sales manager, Harald von Falkenstein, tells PSN-e: "These affordable products put state-of-the-art technologies, exceptional audio properties [and] attributes, and maximum user benefit within easy reach of our customers. The painstaking attention to detail has made the Opera series one of the most successful and most frequently copied speaker systems. Our aim is nothing less than to become the top brand in active plastic speakers worldwide."
