DAVID Systems forges partnership with A&DT

GERMANY/ITALY: The deal opens the way to an expansion of DAVID Systems’ presence in Italy, writes David Davies. Based in Monza, A&DT (Analog & Digital Technology) is a member of the Pro Audio Group and operates in the broadcast, studio recording, home theatre and industry market segments.

As a result of the new agreement, A&DT will distribute and service DAVID Systems’ complete portfolio of products and technology lines in Italy.

Marco Porro, A&DT’s managing director, commented: "DAVID Systems products blend perfectly into our present portfolio of specific end-to-end workflow solutions. Adding their renowned technology to our existing business enables us to take advantage of new market opportunities."

The announcement follows in the wake of the January launch of a worldwide channel partner programme for Value Added Resellers and system integrators who wish to add DAVID Systems’ broadcast products to their solution portfolios. According to DAVID Systems, the partner programme provides a "scalable and flexible framework" to satisfy the increasing requirements of broadcast customers.

DAVID Systems’ director sales, J_rgen Vollmer (pictured), tells PSN-e: "A consistent and integrated Channel Partner Program enables our partners to take advantage of new market opportunities and makes each of us, and especially our customers, more successful. Our partners have the ability [to leverage and represent] our entire portfolio of products and services based on their core competencies: broadcast specific sales, professional services and detailed geographic knowledge. This new sales strategy is fully backed by our product management team who met the challenge to transform the portfolio into channel-ready products."
