ARGENTINA: Marti Audio is continuing to use D.A.S. Audio Aero sound systems on an eclectic selection of projects, writes David Davies. Recent commitments include a recital tour by renowned singer Soledad Pastorutti (‘La Sole’), sponsored by supermarket chain Supermercados La An_nima, the Chamam_ National Festivity and the Cosquin Festival (pictured).

The D.A.S Audio PA system deployed for La Sole’s performances in cities such as Santa Rosa and General Roca included 12 Aero 28 line array units, augmented by six Aero 182s for bass coverage. Eight SM 15A self-powered stage monitors were also provided.

Another recent project saw Marti Audio supply the PA set-up for the 19th Chamam_ National Festivity at the Transit Cocomarola Amphitheatre in Corrientes. Performers such as Teresaa Parodi and Ramona Galarza were heard through a system comprising 16 Aero 48s (flown eight per side), 16 LX-218 subwoofers and, for frontfill, eight self-powered Variant 25A line array systems. Ten self-powered SML-12As were provided for on-stage sound.

Roberto Giner, director of marketing for D.A.S. Audio, tells PSN-e: "The versatility of the D.A.S. Aero line arrays and their user-friendliness provides companies like Marti Audio with systems that provide optimum performance at all times, with minimal set-up times."
