Coda Audio UK appoints head of application to help build internal training structure

Coda Audio UK has appointed Steve Norman to the position of head of application UK to support the sales team and formulate an internal training scheme.

Norman is an experienced audio engineer and a graduate in industrial instrumentation control, having worked on major tours for Placebo and Massive Attack and at Glastonbury Festival, T in the Park, Latitude and Creamfields.

His role will be to support Coda Audio users with predictions and system packages, while assisting the sales team with demonstrations and hosting scheduled training sessions. Part of this latter duty will also include helping to formulate a standardised Coda training structure.

Norman said: “As a freelance engineer, I was already very familiar with Coda Audio systems, having worked closely with Adlib on a number of projects, so the chance to actually be an integral part of their team is a fantastic opportunity.

“I genuinely believe that CODA has the best loudspeaker technology in the world and I’m very much looking forward to playing a part in delivering that message,” he added.

Coda Audio UK MD Rich Rowley commented: “I’m really pleased we’ve secured Steve’s services. He is brilliantly qualified for this position, combining a thorough and high-level technical understanding of audio with a wide-range of practical experience, having worked on festivals, major tours and large scale stadium productions.

“He’s also a very experienced recording engineer and musician – another invaluable asset in shaping his audio expertise. Around the world, CODA Audio’s teams have recruited audio experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience – Steve’s appointment to our UK operation adds another great talent to CODA’s global support network.”
