Yvette Chivers, founder of BPM Live, says: “This year’s competition has been our most successful to date, with entries from over 120 artists, bands and producers from 18 different countries. Each artist was paired with an electronic music producer who has re-mixed their track to create a new and exciting musical work. From this selection, we have chosen a shortlist of 30 and our judging panel is currently deciding the overall winners.”

The judging panel features music professional including high profile producers and remixers such as Roni Size, Krystal Roxx, Wolfgang Flur and Matt Schwartz.

“It’s really exciting to see so much new talent working on these remixes,” says Reprazent founder, producer and DJ Roni Size. “I can’t wait to see who comes up with the goods.”

Award categories include gongs for Best Arrangement, Most Imaginative track and Most Innovative track. The fourth Award will go to the track that pulls in the most votes from the public. The overall winning track, also decided by the Judging panel, will earn both the artist and remixer significant prizes, including a Prism Sound audio interface.
