Blackline for feted Rimini club

ITALY: A Martin Audio system has been installed at the legendary Paradiso club in Rimini, writes David Davies. The new sound system for the VIP zone was devised and installed by Max DeLux of San Marino’s Titansound & Light, and formed part of a substantial renovation and technical upgrade of the nearly 50-year-old club by new owners Luca De Simone and Alessandra Volta.

The specified system had to be suitable for background music during restaurant hours, more impactful sound for evening dancing, and use by visiting groups. In recognition of the room’s long, rectangular shape, DeLux selected a series of 12 Blackline F10 enclosures – mounted on brackets at the top of the walls along the whole length of the room – and six S15 subs, installed at strategic points on the floor around the perimeter of the dance area.

The venue’s DJs also have Blackline units at their disposal, with a pair of F15s and two S15s handling monitor duties.

“Since we installed the system at the Paradiso, it has already been heard by two new clients who compared it to what they already had and immediately contacted me, requesting a quote for a Martin Audio system in their venues,” said DeLux.
