What is it?
A range of headsets for live, remote broadcasting, studio, film and TV applications.

Details
Described as “exceptionally comfortable” with a soft headband and ear pads, the DT 109 range offers high-level background noise attenuation from a closed ear cup design. The ’phones operate across a 30Hz – 20kHz range at 94dB (max) SPL, <0.1% THD and a nominal impedance of 400 ohms – though a 50 ohm version is also available. Circumaural sound coupling offers 20dBA ambient noise attenuation from a choice of soft PVC, cotton jersey or plush ear pads and the headset weighs 390g with cable. The dynamic microphone provides a hypercardioid pick-up response over a 40Hz – 12kHz range at a nominal impedance of 200 ohms. The DT 109 is said to offer “rugged, field-serviceable construction” in a choice of grey or black. Supplied without connecting cable, users can choose between 1.5m and 3m bare-ended straight cables, XLR-terminated straight cables and 3m bare-ended coiled cable.
