Behringer X32 Core

Behringer X32 Core

What is it? A rack-mount version of Behringer’s flagship X32 digital mixing console in a single rack space.   Details The X32 CORE combines the full range of mixing facilities from the original console with full remote control for both live-sound touring and install applications. It can be combined with S16 digital snakes to run sound with high I/O counts in multiple locations, with dual AES50-networking CAT5 connectors allowing for up to 96 remote inputs and 48 output channels to be controlled from, and processed by, the X32 CORE. This can be managed concurrently from various locations and instances of Behringer’s software control applications: XiQ, XiControland XControl.   A set of front panel controls may be pre-configured to restrict the level of user interaction and mask the complexity of the mixer functions while a rear-panel expansion port facilitates the use of optional I/O cards for interfacing with existing networked audio infrastructure. Key features of the X32 CORE include a built-in 32 x 32 USB recording interface, eight stereo effects engines, zero-latency monitoring and 100% total recall. An onboard 2-track USB recorder is also included.   And another thing… The X32-Mix app for the iPad and iPhone provides remote control of the X32 CORE without the need for a host computer.
