Audio-Technica planning a ‘wildly’ interactive BVE experience

Audio-Technica has an interactive experience planned for visitors to its stand at BVE2013.   Various sound sources will be located around the wildlife-themed booth, with a variety of microphones from the company’s broadcast and production range (as well at the AT897 short shotgun) available to allow visitors to pinpoint the sounds and experience the differences between models.   Prizes are available to visitors who can correctly identify each of the animal sounds featured on the stand.   Three people each day will win a guided tour of the tiger enclosures at the Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire and afternoon tea at the Treetop Café.   In addition to Audio-Technica products, the Allen & Heath XB-10 broadcast desk, launched at PLASA in September, will also be displayed.   “We’re excited about the plans to bring a ‘hands-on’ experience to our stand at BVE this year,” said Audio-Technica senior marketing manager Harvey Roberts.   “We’re aware that it’s normally difficult for visitors to gain a meaningful understanding of how microphones sound and work at events of this kind. The new stand will give customers a unique chance to hear the difference between the models on display and experience the individual characteristics of their design and features.”   www.audio-technica.com www.allen-heath.com
