Audio Demonstration Rooms at next ISE

test 3 November 2009

HOLLAND: Integrated Systems Events’ MD, Mike Blackman, says that ISE 2010 is set to be “the most compelling B2B event for Europe’s systems integration industry”. Located in the upper floors of the Amsterdam RAI’s new Elicium building, the Audio Demonstration Rooms will enable exhibitors to show the latest in audio technology in an invitation-only environment, and at higher levels than previously possible at ISE.

Available in a range of sizes from 27 to 40 square metres, all 12 rooms are fully sound-proofed and air-conditioned, and are easily accessed from Hall 12 of ISE.

Integrated Systems Events’ Mike Blackman said that the organisation had been aware “for some time” that audio exhibitors would like to demonstrate their systems at higher sound levels than the show-floor policy permits. He expects the rooms to appeal to companies active in commercial installation, rental, staging and residential applications, as well as home theatre large-scale loudspeaker manufacturers.

Moreover, Blackman tells PSN-e, “the provision of Audio Demonstration Rooms is only one of many new initiatives that will help to make ISE 2010 the most compelling B2B event for Europe’s systems integration industry. Elsewhere at the show we will be opening up a second themed area for digital signage; offering a wider range of classes than ever thanks to the efforts of our supporting associations, CEDIA and InfoComm International; and inviting new channels of attendees through a Hosted Buyer Programme designed to broaden the market for AV technology in Europe.”

Blackman is also upbeat about the possible attendance totals, sensing that “confidence has returned very significantly” across the EMEA region’s pro-AV and systems integration communities during recent months. “We are confident that ISE 2010 will reflect this, with record numbers of exhibiting companies and attendees expected in Amsterdam from 2-4 February,” he adds.
