test 15 May 2007

UK: Roadshow events organised by Harman Pro UK in Liverpool and Guildford this Wednesday and Friday, respectively, will offer visitors the opportunity to win a limited edition AKG C414 microphone worth _1000, reports PSN-e.

The chance to check out the latest gear from Harman Pro companies – including AKG, BSS Audio, Crown, dbx, JBL, Lexicon and Soundcraft – and put your questions to Harman product specialists are among the other incentives to attend.

Additionally, the evening PA School sessions will offer visitors the opportunity to learn how to set up a live PA from Harman’s live sound specialists. Anyone attending these events can enter into a prize draw to win an anniversary edition AKG C414, with one microphone up for grabs at each location.

A mere 2007 units of the special edition AKG C414 are to be produced this year, which sees AKG celebrate its 60th anniversary.

Visitors will also receive vouchers entitling them to a 10% discount on selected gear from Harman Group companies, including the AKG D5 and C5 on-stage microphones, any of Soundcraft’s EPM- and MPM-series mixers, Lexicon’s MX-series reverb processor and dbx’s 166XL dual compressor/limiter/gate.
