Acoustical analysis from Auralex

test 20 May 2008

US: Auralex Acoustics is offering free acoustical analysis to customers dealing with larger spaces, writes David Davies. Following the model of its earlier Personalized Room Analysis Form, the Large Room Analysis Form enables customers to supply project data and receive information covering product recommendations and placement for venues such as churches and gymnasiums.

Customers can download both the original Personalized Room Analysis and new Large Room Analysis forms as PDFs from the Auralex website (link below), or can call the company directly to receive a copy of either form by fax. The more information included on the downloaded form, the more accurate the recommendations from Auralex’s engineers will be. Information required includes room type, use and dimensions.

Once the company has received the requests, they will be sorted geographically and routed to the appropriate consultant. An Auralex consultant will review the information and formulate suggestions for Auralex products and their suggested placement in the room within 2-3 business days. Products can then be purchased through any of Auralex’s hundreds of authorised dealers.

“At Auralex, we are known for our best-in-class products, but perhaps most importantly [_] we take the mystery out of acoustic treatment by providing not only great products, but excellent service by coaching our customers on the proper use and installation of products through our Free Personalized Room Analysis Service,” Timothy H. Martin, director of sales and marketing at Auralex Acoustics, tells PSN-e. “Our engineers and applications specialists are trusted advisers trained to deliver honest, timely and accurate information on treatment techniques for any acoustical problem.”
